Really Garlicky Company To Close

The Really Garlicky Company, a Scottish supplier of high quality garlic from their Nairnshire farm, has announced that it’s closing down after twenty years. Gilli and Glen Allingham, who started the business in 2001, are instead going to be concentrating their efforts on their seed potato business.

In the announcement, the Allinghams said:

We would like to thank all our wonderful garlicky fans we’ve met over the years, the chefs and restaurants who’ve created the most delicious dishes. The shops, delis and supermarkets, in particular Waitrose and the team at The Moulton Bulb Company who have supported us and all the small businesses we’ve had the pleasure to meet along the way. You have all given us so much encouragement and support over the years which we will forever be grateful for.

I’ve bought a lot of Really Garlicky garlic over the years and will be sorry to see the brand go.
